Job Description: L3Harris is seeking an experienced B-2 Aircrew Training Subject Matter Expert for Long Term System Support (LTSS) to provide technical expertise for design, testing, verification, and validation of the B-2 aircrew training systems solutions.
Essential Functions:
Participate in system design, including requirements definition
Support Mission test definition
Support hardware & software system integration testing
Conduct mission environment testing and support
Support system tests, acceptance tests, and customer interface
Support writing of test plans, document results, and discrepancy resolution closure
Support discrepancy review boards
B-2 Aircraft modification concurrency support
Qualifications:
Air Force Officer experienced in the B-2 as Instructor Pilot/Mission Commander
B-2 operational intelligence support experience.
Weapons School experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (customer users, USAF SMEs)
Good analytical skills
Experience interfacing with customers and end users
Ability to explain technical concerns to customer
Self-motivated to address,evaluate, and if necessary, correct testing concerns
Knowledge of aircraft systems and the associated environment
Organizational skills and integrity to run a rigorous test program while holding to the contractual requirements
Ability to work weekends and off-shifts as required
Ability to travel to support concurrency meetings
6+ years of related experience
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance within a six-year investigation period
Preferred Additional Skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, Computer Science, or Engineering degree
Current Guard or Reserve experience a plus
Prefer 6+ years of aviation industry experience
Experience in use of B-2 simulation training devices and products
Test experience
Applicable experience may be considered in lieu of specific education requirements
Demonstrated experience developing long-term business relationships with the customer or end user community
