As a Manager and Client Leader, you will provide onsite leadership for associates involved in development, design, and optimization of technical information system platforms for ITWorks clients. Through your strong interpersonal and communications skills, you will build professional partnerships within Cerner and with client leaders at all levels; you will drive client technology strategy development and financial planning; and align client goals and strategies with current IP capabilities and roadmaps. Furthermore, you will establish projects, goals and objectives that advance client imperatives and can be shared across organizations; lead onsite teams that develop, design, and optimize technical information system platforms; and develop and foster collaboration between technology communities across Cerner and ITWorks sites.
As a manager of people, you will seek to understand disagreements, ensure all perspectives are heard and facilitate a plan for resolution. Delegate the work appropriately, provide clear expectations and follow up to ensure progress and overcome roadblocks. Additional responsibilities include: identify associates and team priorities based on business direction and adjust when needed; lead by example and share knowledge and experiences with associates and team; and create a respectful work environment where you advocate for your team, create accountability and recognize their accomplishments. As a leader, you will be responsible to provide timely feedback to encourage success, ensure accountability, and connect opportunities for your associates’ development, as well as identify the right talent to achieve the desired results; and promote and build a diverse cohesive team to accomplish objectives and align associates' skills to fill gaps.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare OR related field of study OR relevant, equivalent work experience
At least 7 years of clinical, health care, or information systems management work experience
At least 2 years Cerner Millennium stand alone or multi-tenant Millennium domain work experience
At least 5 years of people management work experience
At least 5 years Cerner Millennium stand alone or multi-tenant Community Works domain experience
This is an onsite position with the primary work location in Warrensburg, MO
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
