Job Description

Job Summary:

The Vendor Coordinator, Data Quality Control proofs, enters and extracts data using department-specific applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Prioritizes, corrects and batches data in order to locate missing information in preparation for entry.

  • Enters information from a variety of sources into computer database(s). Verifies data entered into computer by checking printouts/reports for errors and correcting as required.

  • Extracts information out of clinical and/or non-clinical databases.

  • Prepares reports, presentations and other documents as instructed.

  • Works with contracted vendors to develop and maintain contract data download capability. This includes data synchronization in support of The Resource Group contract management system.

  • Supports system that can transform and normalize data across multiple dimensions. Use database programming languages to transform, schedule and automate transformation of the data.

  • Use Business Intelligence Reporting Tools to create the proper roll-up and detail reports. Use of Object Oriented Programming and SQL is essential prior to use of the Business Intelligence Reporting Tool.

  • Uses variance analysis to look for usage anomalies by purchase classification. Develop alternate product classifications that can be used to analyze usage. Add categories, analyze, and create alternate scenarios that can be used by Value Analysts to negotiate. Leverage UNSPSC coding where available.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's Level Degree.

Work Experience:

  • Will take candidates with zero experience as this is an entry level professional job and 2-4 years experience required in Customer Service, Collections, Vendor Management or a related field.
