Job Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with the design, development, implementation and maintenance of custom developed web applications using the .NET Framework and Microsoft SQL Server 2014.
Write, modify and troubleshoot complex Stored Procedures.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work in a collaborative team environment with other developers of varying experience levels.
Know what good looks like, and be able to adjust accordingly.
Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a highly fluid environment.
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities under tight deadlines.
Must be quick to adapt to new process requirements and development tools.
Must be able to work occasional night and weekend hours based on client needs.
Must have the ability to troubleshoot and communicate technical solutions to non-technical individuals.
Asynchrony Labs, a subsidiary of World Wide Technology, Inc. has opportunities for a highly motivated VB.Net Software Engineer. Candidates will be responsible for the analysis of business, engineering, and scientific problems, and the documentation and development of well-defined methods, procedures, and programs in the delivery of practical systems solutions. Should have experience with hands-on .Net development. This includes detailed software design, developing code with unit tests to implement the design, correcting flaws based on requirements testing, and integrating the applications.
3+ Years of Professional Experience in VB.Net.
2+ Years of Professional Experience in MS SQL Server with a focus on Stored Procedure development.
Must have an understanding of React/Web API stack.
Strong knowledge in ADO.NET.
Strong knowledge of Viewstate, Session State and Url Parameters.
Must have an understanding of AWS.
Experience using Git.
Knowledge of Gembox Software a plus.
Knowledge of AWS Visual Studio plugin a plus.
Knowledge of AWS CLI a plus.
Experience with File IO in a web application environment a plus.
