Technical Leader, Operational Excellence


Oversee progress of improvement efforts and develop plans to address inadequacies.

Provide updates on progress to the Site Operational Excellence Leader and/or site leadership team on the results of the operational excellence initiatives and identify any potential complications that may require site leadership interventions

Track and report on key performance indicators at site level; create and implement effective corrective action plans in combination with functional managers to address any areas of concern

Implement system to standardize operational excellence procedures within the site as defined

Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to implement an operational excellence plan that supports site, business unit, and company strategies

Execute operational excellence roadmaps on an annual basis to drive continuous improvement

Remain up to date on industry trends and technology that can drive operational excellence and share best practices to drive changes



Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline is required.

MBA or equivalent level degree is preferred.

Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred.


Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical environment

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operational excellence capacity highly preferred

Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience required.

Demonstrated experience utilizing lean tools on a specific project in a team environment
