Team Leader Analytic and Reporting ToolsFirm Analytics partners with business areas to provide analytical insights for firm decision making and strategic planning. The Analytic Tools Team Leader is responsible for managing the tools required to meet the Firm's needs in regards to analytics and reporting. The Team Leader will lead the engagement with our internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide a strategy for how to maximize value through tools and platforms. They will assist analysts in translating business needs into technical requirements which will drive the work performed by a cross divisional delivery team.There is an expectation to partner with leaders across Firm Analytics and with leaders within the Edward Jones Technology division to deliver high value platforms driving towards shared objectives, independently making ongoing day to day decisions related to team priorities, resources and approach.Key Responsibilities:The Team Leader serves as the individual accountable for the analytic and reporting tools and platforms and their ability to meet the Firm's data needs. They are responsible for providing thought leadership and driving a multi-disciplinary and cross-divisional team to deliver value to internal customers of the Firm.This individual aligns strategy to execution through the development and maintenance of their roadmap, outlining the body of work expected now, next, and into the future.The role is accountable for the respective user's experience that necessitates a systems thinking approach Responsible for leading analysts through the elicitation and documentation of both business and technical requirements.Responsible within their team for recruiting, hiring and developing the diverse talent necessary to fulfill Firm Analytics mission, vision and guiding principlesCreate repeatable and scalable frameworks that can be leveraged to execute the work. Ensure the core processes are followed and hold team accountable to the deliverables required of each phase to promote consistent, transparent, and quality results.Develop and manage business relationships with senior leaders and executive-level management across the organizationPosition Qualifications:Minimum of 7 years of experience with progressive responsibility in an information systems, analytical, financial, or economic role. Ability to lead team of analysts, prioritize multiple projects from all areas of the firm.Solid ability to provide coaching to others on technical and analytical functionsExcellent communication skills with associates and leadership in cross-functional settings using verbal, written and presentation skills requiredExtensive experience using reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Microstrategy, etc.) and advanced analytic tools (R, Python, Dataiku, CPLEX, etc.) required. Experience using cloud technology a plus.Must have working knowledge of a structured development lifecycleAdvanced understanding how data impacts decision making in each functional area supported requiredProject management skills required.Excellent analytical, critical, and systems thinking requiredBachelor's Degree required.
