The Boeing Company Systems Engineer Associate in St. Louis, Missouri

Are you interested in learning to fly an F-22, F-15, Apache, or P-8 simulator while developing and maintaining the simulation devices used to train our nation’s military pilots?

Boeing Global Services is currently seeking

Associate

System Engineers to become part of the Training Systems team in

St. Louis, Missouri . There are a number of possible job assignments in Training Systems on multiple aircraft and rotorcraft platforms. Responsibilities include requirements definition, system architecture development, model based systems engineering (MBSE), systems integration, and systems test.

As a Systems Engineer you will work with a team in a casual but professional environment where there is long-term potential for career growth into management or technical leadership positions.

level role is based out of our

St. Louis, Missouri

campus.

The selected applicant will be a member of a high performing, collaborative team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, excellent time-management, and interpersonal skills. These teams use Agile methodologies to support all aspects of product development, including project management. The applicant will be encouraged to actively help the team continuously improve and develop innovative and creative solutions to products and processes.

Key responsibilities could include:

Understanding engineering processes and developing those processes into contractually binding documents.

Working closely with cross functional teams in an integrated team environment.

Conducting technical analysis, trade studies, and provide recommendations.

Problem solving and supporting other engineers in a team environment.

System design and interfaces, requirements analysis and definition, end user interaction, unit testing, and

validation/verification.

Qualifications:

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

A final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required

Bachelor’s degree or greater in a technical field of study.

2+ years of experience of in an engineering job function

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) :

2 or more years of experience with requirements development, requirements management, or requirements

validation/verification.

1 or more years working in Agile development

Familiar working with and/or developing requirements/test methodology .

Typical

Education/Experience:

Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
