The Boeing Company is looking for a Supply Chain Finance - Procurement Cost Analyst to join their team in Saint Louis, Missouri. Other potential work locations include: El Segundo, California; Huntsville, Alabama; Mesa, Arizona; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Tukwila, Washington.
As a part of the BDS acquire functions, Supply Chain Finance (SCF) is a fast-paced organization with responsibilities for supplier cost analysis. Cost analysts partner closely with supplier management to support the development of a negotiation position for the procurement of material and production services. SCF is supplier-aligned and is co-located with the supplier management teams they support.
Conducts cost/price analyses using statistical tools, market trend data and parametric models. Prepares strategies and leads price negotiations with supplier
Applies quantitative analysis in the development of supplier pricing and analytical models
Develops estimates from historical data, parametric analysis and technical requirements
Performs risk and opportunity analysis
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and regulatory agency requirements
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field
Experience in Finance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with financial analysis
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
