Position Summary

The Senior Analyst, HR Global Data Strategy is responsible for the management of projects and external providers related to acquisitions across the Human Resources function.  The role supports, coordinates, implements and helps maintain process and data integrity, along with facilitating reporting and associated mechanisms. This role works with Human Resources and cross-functional resources to plan, support, and implement projects and process improvements.  He or she will primarily be responsible for the following:

Accountabilities

  • Manage the relationship with external providers to ensure services meet the service level agreements of the contract.

  • Performs analyses of data and processes of HR-related data and systems. This involves, but is not limited to: HR-related systems and applications, reporting, and ad hoc analysis. Additionally this role will oversee the development and maintenance of processes to support HR systems and projects. Sets and monitors associated project schedules, assigns tasks, and addresses deviations to the defined plan.

  • Routinely works with others to monitor and audit configuration and/or process changes within the system through regular data audits and trend analysis. Provides analysis, interpretation, and potential solutions for data, process or system concerns.

  • Provides analysis and data to support operational performance to meet business requirements

Specific Accountabilities

  • Defines and documents specifications for functional business processes.

  • Recommends process and work flow to improve efficiency and/or customer service. Recommends changes to allow for improved data accuracy, as well as, proposes metrics to evaluate department and business changes.

  • Routinely audits system data and processes to ensure data continuity and process control across HR modules, platforms, and systems such as talent management, benefits, and payroll. Presents findings professionally and in a manner which best fits the target audience.

  • Ensures system is in compliance from a data privacy and security standpoint.

  • Troubleshoots and resolves system, data, and process-related issues. Works with others as needed to address issues and enhancements.

  • Supports continuous improvement projects, such as improving data integrity, processes, and workflows. Partners with others to increase process efficiencies and/or support productivity. Works with internal and external resources.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Focus on analytics: Assessing data for trends and providing insights to guide decision making

  • Requires bachelor's degree in a technical or business related field

  • Requires minimum five to ten years of experience evaluating business processes and applications

  • Requires in-depth experience in Excel including advanced formulas, pivot tables and add-ins

  • Experience managing vendors, leading technical projects and project management is preferred

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience in core HR functions such as employee life-cycle processes, etc. is preferred

  • Experience in one or more of the following: Employee data, benefits data, record query and reporting, SAP

  • Key relationships internally will include IT and HR team members: Global Business Processes, Talent, Rewards, HRBPs

  • Key relationships externally will include external providers, HR systems and services vendors
