IBM Solution Architect : Hybrid Cloud in St Louis, Missouri
We are looking for experienced Solution Architect to join our IBM Hybrid Cloud Ops / App Insights Best Practices team to help with our Application Performance Management, IBM Tivoli Monitoring, Netcool and Netcool Operations Insight customer base and support new sales opportunities.
Actively participate in pre-sales opportunities / PoCs
Request For Proposals, demonstrate use cases, sharing technical expertise, etc.
Support and participate at sales, enablement road shows, IBM Think, TUG, Gartner etc.
Enable and support the growing Business Partner ecosystem.
Bring back customer feedback to improve our solution offerings (close loop).
Design and implement solution demos.
Support customer visits to IBM locations.
Assist our customers (on-site/off-site visits, web conferences, phone calls).
Respond to technical questions from customers and IBMers.
Pro-actively participate in Design reviews with Design team.
Attend and provide input back into stakeholder review meetings with the product teams.
Develop and enhance Best Practices and Redbooks publications for our solutions.
Location, Flexible but Raleigh, NC or Austin, TX preferred
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Bachelors degree is required.
5+ years of experience as Solution Architect working directly with customers.
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science.
Self-starter who learns new technologies quickly, can multi-task, and has strong analytical skills.
Ability to work with customers, build relationships, demonstrate the value IBM solutions.
Stay engaged and support our clients though out the sales cycle
Technical knowledge of APM or Netcool products is preferred.
Experience in DevOps methodology, Rest API, Containers, Kubernetes
Excellent communications skills both written and oral is essential.
Good understanding of Cloud technologies and concepts is an advantage.
Approximately up to 25% travel.
