Job Description

We’re currently seeking a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Sr. Developer to provide high quality code solutions that meet client needs in the implementation, enhancement and support of the Demandware eCommerce platform. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Understanding requirements, reading tickets, following estimates, and developing the code/configuration for projects you are assigned to

  • Follow the development process and adhere to the standard development policies and procedures using best practices

  • Collaborate with the team and help share knowledge of the Demandware platform

  • Work closely with the technical lead to understand the business needs and objectives, using your knowledge of the Demandware platform.

  • Actively participate in sprint planning meetings, project scrum meetings, and retrospective meetings

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is required

  • 3+ years of experience with Demandware Platform

  • Experience using CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and other front-end development languages.

  • 2+ years’ experience actively using Pipelines, JS Controllers, Demandware Script, ISML Templates, Real time data exchange using Web services, and understand how to integrate to 3rd party code

  • Be willing to learn, take Demandware certification exams, pass and get certified.

  • Must demonstrate the ability to work independently, prioritize multiple objectives in a rapidly changing environment, and ensure delivery of quality products

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • One or more current Demandware certifications (Commerce Cloud Digital Developer); is preferred.
