Honeywell Publications Coordinator in St. Louis, Missouri

Serves as key contact person for Technical Communications’ hard copy and electronic deliverables. Works independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Performs a variety of publications tasks:

Communicates with internal customers to determine what documentation is needed at customer sites and the timeframe in which it is needed.

Creates hard copy and electronic system manuals for customer sites.

Oversees all aspects of document production, often with multiple publications and projects. Troubleshoots and remedies related issues.

Coordinates with offsite writers to ensure that master documents are received, stored, and posted to the appropriate sites.

Converts mechanical and electrical drawings to PDF format on an as needed basis.

Uploads and maintains customer documentation on customer-facing dashboard.

Maintains documentation request form(s) used by associates to request documentation.

Proofreads product documentation for grammar and format to help maintain consistency and quality.

May be responsible for producing to a prescribed budget, typically when coordinating production. May also be asked to participate in budget development by summarizing, researching, and analyzing past expenditures.

May assist in training other associates.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Minimum three (3) years experience in publications or related field with proven project management skills and an understanding of the document production process

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat

  • Ability to work across teams and with a variety of departments

  • Working knowledge of word processing and graphic design applications
