TekSynap PSOC Support Specialist in St. Louis, Missouri

We are seeking a PSOC Support Specialist to support NGA EMCSS

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to system generated alerts/alarms

  • Create incident tickets using ServiceNow

  • Perform manual system health checks

  • Remotely monitor multiple Unix, Windows, and Linux-based application and database servers

  • Provide tier 2 support multiple Unix, Windows, and Linux-based application and database servers

  • Maintain logs of daily service and support activities

  • Provide Remote Resolution for server issues using command line interface, Remote Desktop and other required Enterprise Tools

  • Provide direct customer support for the enterprise customer support center after hours

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree (in Engineering, Computer Science or related field) or equivalent with one to two years of related experience

  • Must hold a current DoD 8570 IAT II certification; Security+ CE preferred.

  • Experience maintaining systems, servers, firewalls and other components necessary to achieve proper resolution

  • Experience with system administration to restore and maintain the overall health of IT services

  • Experience conducting updates to the electronic dashboard and associated components
