Fiserv PS Advisory Services Consultant in St. Louis, Missouri

Position Description

What does a great PS Advisory Services Consultant do?

The Consultant in Advisory Services is instrumental in the success of Advisory Services! In this position, you will complete engagements focused on the analysis of the client’s specifications and use of the General Ledger application for their Fiserv Premier core and developing recommendations for improvements based on the bank’s overall objectives and their financial, operational and compliance needs and requirements. Analyze industry data to help Advisory Services adapt and create services to meet the needs of a changing industry. Partner with other Consultants to assure our consulting services are consistent and support the Fiserv clients and deliver the best in the business. Partner with the Director of Advisory Services to develop standardized reporting and to enhance the capabilities and deliverables associated with our consulting engagements. Have good organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and an excellent attitude towards work. You must be able to establish a good rapport with clients and team members and be very proficient in client communication.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Finance/Marketing

  • Minimum of 5 years’ of experience in banking general ledger and/or related field

  • Knowledge of Fiserv Premier banking core platform and the General Ledger application specifically

  • Ability to extract and analyze complex data

  • Ability to develop and clearly communicate banking product recommendations to all levels of client associates, from the C-suite to the product, technology and operational staff

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Background in Consulting a plus

  • Skills in diverse problems and making decisions using solid analytical skills where limited precedents or guidelines exist

  • Decision making and problem solving that may affect multiple departments or functions

  • Uses independent judgment to identify problems and solutions

Travel required: Approx. 10% travel/frequency required
