Power Engineers Project Manager in St Louis, Missouri

POWER Engineers, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Manager to join the Power Delivery department in our Saint Louis, Missouri office. This position will manage various types of projects; from transmission and substation construction projects to facility renovation projects (design-build and design-bid-build).
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the project planning process including initiation, design, engineering, material procurement, construction, commissioning, and close out
Manage project implementation including project schedule, project budget and the project resources including external vendors and contractors
Serve as the primary project authority for assigned project personnel on major project-related issues
Direct project team and lead the project management process
Responsible for metrics tracking, associated reporting to stakeholders, and compliance with regulatory, corporate and department procedures during all the phases of the project
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent industry related experience) from an accredited university required – engineering, engineering management, or construction management discipline preferred
Equivalent industry related experience is defined as ten (10) + years of professional experience in the construction, and/or electric power and communications industry
Ten (10) + years relevant project management experience
Relevant experience includes large-scale project management, and/or project lead engineering experience on large/complex projects
Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools
General understanding of transmission systems
Proficiency with financial analysis tools in a utility setting
A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Ten (10) + years of project management experience
Experience in project management controls area
