How will you make an impact?

The Project Manager 2 is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, executive, control and completion of projects, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments and goals of the organization. He/she also leads Operational Excellence events at the site designed to meet or exceed the key performance indicators such as revenue, EBITA, right-first-time (quality), and On-Time Delivery as well as improving Organizational Health. Responsible for utilizing operational excellence tools to achieve process improvement. This individual should be a strong leader with highly developed communication, influencing, project management, and presentation skills.

What will you do?

  • Plan, implement, and lead projects and operational excellence events

  • Help define project scope, goals and deliverables with cross-functional teams

  • Define tasks and required resources

  • Manage project budget

  • Allocate project resources

  • Create schedule for project or event timeline

  • Track deliverables

  • Support and direct team

  • Monitor, control, and report on project and event progress

  • Present to reports to stakeholders on progress as well as issues and potential solutions

  • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet deliverables

  • Evaluate and assess results of projects and events

How will you get here?

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline is required.

  • Certification in Project Management (PMP) preferred.

  • Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in a highly regulated industry with operations/manufacturing exposure, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment

  • 1-2 years of experience managing multiple cross functional projects

  • 1-2 years of experience implementing LEAN tools and methodology.

  • Conflict resolution experience
