Salary

  • Minimum: $62,946.00

  • Maximum: $98,670.00

This position is selected for the Hiring Incentive Program. The incentive shall be in the amount of one thousand five hundred dollars ($1500.00). The hiring incentive will be paid (if funds are available) by the Department/Division which appoints the applicant.

Nature of Work

Incumbents in this position are responsible for complex programming and installing duties/projects and instructing and monitoring other programmers. Duties include: designing, programming, testing and maintaining network security applications.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field; plus three years of experience in network security applications programming. OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Documentation of academic credentials must be submitted at the time of the Oral Interview.

The Director of Personnel may, in his discretion, accept alternate documentation.

Employees assigned to St. Louis Lambert International Airport may be eligible for a commuting allowance of $141.00 bi-weekly. A ten-year background investigation will be conducted in accordance with FAA regulations for positions at St. Louis Lambert International Airport.
