Professional Services Cyber Security Solutions Architect

As the Cyber Security Solutions Architect, your primary objective is to support our Professional Services delivery organization by developing new services, training delivery teams in the deployment of those services, and providing escalation support to engineers in the field. This position will focus on Cisco technologies such as but not limited to ASA, FirePower FTD, AMP and ISE.

  • Work with the WWT national security practice to help determine the referenced architectures we go to market with.

  • Work with the OEM partner to understand their products and technologies, and determine services opportunities for Professional Services.

  • Enable the Professional Services Delivery organization. Provide the tools, training, documentation, and processes necessary to deliver all services in the Cisco Security portfolio.

  • Manage the service portfolio with a business mindset, understanding and generating reports on the pipeline and health of the services

  • Work with the national security practice to establish key relationships with OEM partners and maintain our corporate relationship with that partner.

  • Understand each partner's certification requirements and work with internal peers to ensure that we meet those requirements.

  • Collaborate with other SAs and practices on overall practice strategy

  • Develop methodology-based delivery models for all services in the Cyber Security Practice Cisco Technologies portfolio.

  • Maintain a strong relationship with your Business Development practice counterparts.

  • Manage the introduction of new Cisco services under the Cyber Security practice.

  • Help maintain a practice that is relevant to the Delivery Managers and Field Engineers delivering services

  • Help maintain partner coverage required to deliver all practice services in all required locations.

  • Generate and maintain practice documentation templates, processes, and collateral within the Practice portal for use by delivery teams, Sales and Business Development.

  • Help develop ATC strategy for Cisco Security technologies and integrations

  • Regularly review client deliverables to identify opportunities to improve quality through training, mentoring, product offering improvement, and talent acquisition.

  • Contribute to a high performance-teaming environment within the engineering, services, PMO and sales business units.

  • Interview delivery engineering candidates and provides feedback to management

  • Ability to speak to enterprise-wide security technologies

  • Strong presentation and writing skills

  • Experience with some endpoint products including AMP.

  • Assist with development of new Cisco Product delivery (HW, SW and AMP for endpoint)

  • Collaborate with other practices around delivery offerings for Tanium to enable a unified approach

  • Develop integration of Cisco technologies Splunk, document, labs, etc

  • Develop integration of Cisco technologies and Tanium, document, labs, etc

  • Development of deployment methodologies and strategy Amp for endpoint

  • Evaluate Cisco security products and architectures in alignment with BD

  • Work with Business Managers and sales to understand delivery capabilities

  • Be an enabler of HPT and Hyper Collaboration

  • Work with the SRC to scope and develop LoE's and SoW's

  • Extensive knowledge of next-generation firewalls and other security technologies.

  • Extensive knowledge of current and upcoming security technologies / trends.

  • Extensive knowledge of TrustSec required.

  • Certified as CISSP, CISM, CCIE, CCNP or equivalent level of skills and experience.

  • Capable of effective oral and written presentations to senior level executives.

  • Experience with leading a high performance engineering or product development team in a professional services environment

  • A thorough understanding of the best practices for services execution.

  • Strong coaching skills. Able to provide constructive criticism in a positive manner

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Business or Technology preferred; not required.

  • A self-starter who exudes positive energy and can rally those around them to a common goal.
