Producer Support Representative lll

Position Summary:

The Producer Support Associate III (Commission Processor) is responsible for maintaining a database of producer demographic data and enrollments to accurately perform commission calculations and forward for payment. The position also provides back-up to the Producer Support Team by responding to producer inquiries and escalated issues.

Job Description:

Role and Responsibility

  • Perform administrative aspects of commission payments such as routine tracking, reporting, and troubleshooting issues relative to missing or disputed payments

  • Act as an internal liaison and customer service resource for internal agents and external producers relative to enrollment and policy questions and commission processing

  • Perform daily management of incoming files from multiple sources ensuring alignment of accurate data across all systems, especially as they relate to producer commissions

  • Receive inbound communication from a multi-tenant client base with the ability to effectively and accurately research, define and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner

  • Appropriately disposition cases having the expertise and understanding to clearly communicate dispositions and resolutions based on client and/or contracted services

  • Properly documenting reported issues, steps taken to resolve, and communicate downstream as appropriate

  • Research, analyze and identify root causes of complex issues

  • Aid in educating brokers and general agent partners on plan policies, benefit interpretation, and use of online self-service tools

Experience, Qualifications and Education:

  • Education: High School diploma of GED required. Associate’s degree preferred.

  • Experience: 5+ years of related work experience.

  • Knowledge of Medicare Advantage and Part D Prescription drug coverage

  • Consistently model the highest levels of service, support and professionalism

  • Knowledge of independent producers (brokers/agents) operational practices

  • Basic Desktop operation knowledge

  • Working knowledge of internet concepts and browser configurations (Internet Explorer)

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Outlook and Word

  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of MS Excel

  • Ability to work independently to initiate and manage commission runs and processing

  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

  • Previous experience with healthcare software applications preferred

  • Expert customer service skills: people oriented, even tempered, detail oriented

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills required

  • Organized, highly ethical and concerned with quality output

  • Ability to function in a team environment

  • Good time management

  • Previous Finance/Accounting experience preferred
