IBM Oracle ERP Associate Partner - Financial Services in St Louis, Missouri

Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM Global Business Services (GBS) is hiring an Associate Partner (AP) with subject matter expertise in Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Delivery. Having a deep subject matter knowledge paired with broad understanding of current and future industry issues will be the main ingredients to your success. In addition, you must be comfortable with the “Customer Centric” approach; understanding client needs within this ever-changing yet crucial financial services arena.

This is a solution and sales support position that will work with account teams and clients to conduct solution definition assessments, craft proposals responses and pricing. In addition the role will support pre-sale workshops to position the Oracle ERP Cloud solution and help clients prepare for moving to the Oracle Cloud. This individual will also serve as cloud ERP subject matter advisor and at certain times will also perform as part time project quality assurance lead during the duration of a the project lifecycle, post sale. 

You will have responsibility for a set of offerings within the Oracle domain; contribute to practice development and people management; and, create strategies and implement plans to achieve pipeline/revenue objectives. You must have the ability to contribute to practice thought leadership, understanding business challenges that banking and financial services clients face. Working with practice executives, and IBM staff you will develop and deliver valued solutions to the client challenges which will contribute to overall practice growth.

Responsibilities include:

**Serve as a member of the practice leadership team, contributing to strategy, practice development, offering development and talent management

**Contribute to thought leadership and point of view materials aligned with Oracle solutions understanding and expertise

**Build senior line of business client relationships and a business pipeline of opportunities

**Maintain diligent business controls for pipeline reporting, signings and revenue forecasting

**Achieve personal signings, revenue and utilization objectives, in alignment with practice objectives

**Understand client needs and industry trends, developing winning proposals which will enable the application of IBM’s consulting, data aggregation, analytics, and technology capabilities

**Work closely with clients and internal teams to design, develop, and deliver products and applications that will drive IBM’s Oracle Practice.

**Generate repeat sales at assigned clients, supporting sales efforts of the practice

**Manage new and ongoing client relationships

**Lead teams to successful and client valued delivery




Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 10 years of experience in managing or consulting in the banking and/or financial services field

  • At least 5 years of experience working for a management consulting company supporting the banking and financial services industry (e.g. traditional banks, Casino’s, Mortgage, Securities, MSB’s, etc.)

  • The ability to generate C-Level (CCO, CRO, CDO, CMO, CFO, and other Line of Business Leaders) relationships in Financial Services is required

  • At least 5 years of experience in a prior consulting role with responsibility for and demonstrated success in business development, account management driving process optimization within the Oracle space.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 15 years of relevant work experience.
