IBM Operational Technology (OT) Associate Partner –Global Security in St Louis, Missouri
The Operational Technology (OT) Associate Partner (AP) in the Global Security Services Center of Competency (CoC) is responsible for the growth and management of all facets of the business, primarily by using this global position and perspective to assist the local geographies sell and deliver OT Security Services to their clients. This requires demonstrating thought leadership, sales leadership and delivery leadership in enterprise security strategies and OT security solutions within the Energy & Utilities, Oil & Gas, and Manufacturing industries. Ability to provide global practice leadership by facilitating a community of like-minded practitioners to share and exchange ideas for practice growth and improvement.
The OT AP must have demonstrable knowledge and experience with Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Security components to include, but not limited to, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Intelligent Electronic Devices (IED), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and Remote Terminal Units (RTU). In addition, must have knowledge and experience with Security Operations Center (SOC) concepts, processes and SIEM tools.
Must have a conceptual understanding of the security common body of knowledge (topics relevant to information security professionals around the world).
Effective communication and presentation skills
Ability to lead large groups and be a primary facilitator
Strong writing skills that include client quality PowerPoint consulting documents
Ability to serve as an advisor on ICS Security solutions to internal and client executives
Ability to shape client expectations
Ability to work with Global Complex Solution Sales teams to develop proposals, estimates and contracts related to OT Security services
Ability to lead global and diverse teams in project delivery of complex OT Security projects in varying degrees depending on project complexity and geography needs
Ability to help resolve complex project delivery issues
Ability to work in a matrix management model
OT Security Skills:
Knowledge and some experience working with emerging ICS Security products such as Nozomi, CyberX, Verve, Indegy, Claroty, and/or Check Point Software.
Knowledge of leading practice incident management processes.
Knowledge of prevalent OT environment threats and vulnerabilities
Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (NERC CIP, NIST CSF, ISA/IEC 62443, ISO 27000 Series, PCI, GDPR)
Experience in documentation of solution requirements, design (technical and functional) and test cases
Candidates can be located in any US City, and must be willing to travel 50-75% as required, including international travel.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 10 years of experience in management consulting and systems integration in a professional services firm or in a company related leadership role responsible for ICS Security
Industry experience within one or more of the following industries: Energy & Utilities, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing
At least 3 years of experience leading ICS Security projects
At least 3 years of hands-on experience implementing ICS Security solutions that include: strategy, documentation, design and deployment
Experience working across diverse teams to facilitate solutions
Experience working with Security practitioners
Readiness to travel 50-75%, including international travel
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
- Preference for candidate that has worked at Nozomi Networks
