TD Ameritrade National Support Consultant - St. Louis, MO in St. Louis, Missouri

The National Support Consultant is a highly motivated professional with extensive experience and knowledge of branch operations, relationship management and customer service. A primary role of the National Support Consultant at TD Ameritrade will be to service, support and manage existing un-assigned books of business and prospective clients. National Support Consultants are expected to have a strong results oriented work ethic, as they develop relationships with Branch associates and existing clients. The goal of this job is to provide support to Branch associates and maintain business continuity for the un-assigned books of business.

  • Meet and/or exceed the TDA National Support Consultant targets on both a quarterly and annual basis across all facets of the TDA product and service platform

  • Identify, execute and follow-up on all opportunities to establish customer relationships including prospecting, lead utilization, and local market / community involvement.

  • Provide and demonstrate solid portfolio planning skills and comprehensive industry and investment knowledge to facilitate a personalized client experience.

  • Applies knowledge of products/services, customer needs, business operations and technology to facilitate a personalized client experience.

  • Expected to be a liaison for branch personnel in regards to daily operating procedures and branch compliance expectations.

  • Builds positive relationships with peers, business partners, and colleagues while working effectively with others to accomplish organizational goals.

  • Understands the TDA business model, and uses that knowledge to optimize the relationship between the company and the customer.

  • 4 year College Degree or Equivalent experience

  • 2-3 years Finance experience

  • Must have intermediate knowledge of the securities industry and company policies.

  • Ability to communicate investment strategies in a clear and concise manner to retail clients and business partners that enables clients to make informed investment decisions.

  • Ability to communicate with leadership in a clear and concise manner.

  • Understanding of current regulatory requirements in the financial industry.

  • Proactive team player able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical, organizational and presentation skills.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communicative skills with individuals, groups and leadership. Ability to build professional relationships with branch team and throughout the organization.

  • Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven ability to successfully gather assets and lead others in asset gathering initiatives.

  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.

  • Organization and multi-tasking skills.

  • Required licensures include Series 7, Series 66

  • Preferred Series 24 or Series 9/10

  • Military education or experience may be considered in lieu of civilian requirements listed

  • Travel requirements 25-50%
