Managing Director, IT Transformation

WNA is seeking a Managing Director for IT Transformation to lead and drive a significant, enterprise level technology change initiative in the telecom industry. This WNA leadership position will collaborate with, advise and direct WNA team members, client and partner senior executives and team members, and other vendors to implement customer-focused business and technology transformation. We seek self-driven leaders who have a passion to solve complex problems. Quick learner with willingness to flex into new areas, and have strong relationship building and solution selling skills.

We are looking for our next WNA leader with exceptional communications, comfortable taking initiative, who can provide structure to ambiguity, and can partner with executives, management, business owners and technologists to get work done. As Managing Director, IT Transformation, you will drive all important aspects of a project lifecycle - including scope, requirements, timelines, resource allocation and results.

Role:

  • Success leading large IT Transformation programs and teams in Fortune 500 companies.

  • Defines strategy, organize, mobilize and work the hands-on details.

  • Seeks to collaborate and create coalitions, open to feedback. Ability to process a wide range of inputs and deliver quality content on tight timelines with changing priorities.

  • Outstanding communicator, in verbal, written, presentation and multi-media form. Distills complex technical information into articulate and widely consumable content. Skilled presenter and seller?creates advocates.

  • Strong facilitation and coordination skills for requirements gathering, design meetings, status reporting and reviews.

  • Creates and recognizes opportunities. Anticipates potential problems, identifies risks, and plans contingencies.

  • Turns concepts into reality?solutioning, proof-of-concept, implementation, continuous improvement.

  • Financial management ? experience with business case and ROI development, agile, quarterly and annual budgeting, forecasting, tracking process, cycles and the funding approval process.

  • Minimum 5 years of program, project, or product management in E2E SDLC.

  • 8 ? 15+ years of business and technology experience.

  • Agile-experienced a must. Agile, SAFe, PM training and certifications a plus.

  • Experience in leading teams, including external groups such as customers and other contractors, involved with information technology engineering and operations.

  • Knowledge of methodologies, tools, and templates and large, complex IT environments.

  • Telecom or wireless experience in large carrier environments a plus.

  • BS/BA degree in CS, Engineering, Business or other related fields required. MBA or advanced degrees in technical fields from top schools a plus.

Location: Atlanta, Georgia; Dallas, Texas; other locations considered. Remote through March 2021

Compensation: $160,000 ? $200,000 / year commensurate with skills and experience. Bonus potential.

Timing / Duration: Immediate Start. Permanent position or multi-year contract, your choice.
