LIMS Developer/Java Developer for Chesterfield, MO to design, develop & deploy Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) software and data capture tools; test, support & implement web-based applications; gather requirements; document business use cases & development processes; integrate applications with high-throughput automation; adhere to best practice coding standards & IT systems guidelines; coordinate development, testing & release activities across technical teams.

Requires Master’s in C.S., Computer or Software Engineering, or closely-related field & 3 yrs experience programming in LabWare LIMS and Oracle databases;working with Spring MVC framework & REST and/or SOAP API web services; performing front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX & XSLT; creating & reading XML and/or JSON; logging & tracing error messages; writing shell scripts for backend processes; using Subversion, Git, Microsoft TFS and/or IBM Rational Clearcase for version control; setting up & deploying software platforms; using SQL to perform data modeling & database design, programming and performance tuning; writing stored procedures & complex queries in SQL; working with Crystal Reports; writing VB Scripts & Macros; collaborating with business & technical stakeholders to design service-oriented architecture & reporting structures; and architecting data flow models.
