TEKsystems IT Manager (Call Center Technologies) in St. Louis, Missouri
Lead a small team of employees, contractors and vendors in support of relevant Telephony applications. Provide guidance to the scrum team as needed to resolve issues and define and design effective solutions Work cross-functionally to maintain and to improve integrations with other foundation systems. Work with our external vendors to assist with managing upgrades and day to day production support issues Ensuring application service levels are met on a daily basis. Implement proactive system monitoring and escalate issues for management attention appropriately. Overseeing implementation of compliance policies, standards, and audit requirements in the landing zone. Providing development opportunities and career path guidance to staff. Transitioning to dev ops
Position Purpose: Manage department staff including hiring, performance management and career development to ensure alignment with defined goals. • Plan and direct the daily activities of a team focused on a particular system or technology. • Liaison with managers in IT and other functions, applying standard solutions and processes. • Apply specific technical expertise in depth to address technical and business issues.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience. 5 years of related IT experience. Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff.
This position will be supporting a Federal government contract, therefore it requires U. S. citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense form SF86 or higher security.
