Position Description:

Responsible for computing devices to include PCs and mobile, and associated platforms, including: operating systems, models, and data management tools. Works closely with users to understand their software, system and usage requirements in order to design, build and support the right tools and systems. Support on-premise and cloud collaboration and productivity tools. Maintain an endpoint roadmap to provide reliable and secure end-to-end platform support for the delivery of digital information.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Capable of designing, building and providing Desktop support (Windows desktop, Office Applications, O365)

  • Capable of designing, building and providing Mobile platform support (Windows OS, iOS)

  • Capable of designing, building and providing Device support (PCs, Tablet, SmartPhones)

  • Utilize Mobile Device Management (Mobile Iron) program to manage services including Active Directory integration and device and security policy maintenance

  • Maintain device management integrity via Mobile Iron.

  • Good knowledge of Apple Device Enrollment Program (DEP)

  • Good knowledge of SAAS services and applications

  • Plan for OS upgrades, patching, and new version functionality

  • Focus on securing data and protecting data at its source

  • Experience with browser and server- based computing models, containerization, encryption, data and rights management

  • Familiar with application virtualization, software installation, VMWare, SCCM, Imaging techniques

  • Knowledge of licensing and user profiling to optimize license usage

  • Coordinate with vendors and manage service providers to ensure appropriate models, system configuration, imaging procedures, and tracking/reporting

  • Coordinate with IT Asset Management on device standards and software licensing

  • Work with InfoSecurity to ensure policy configuration with compliance, and data loss protections

  • Work with Infrastructure, Collaboration and Cloud service teams

  • Help design and build self-help portals, FAQs, documentation,

  • Train and empower Tier 1 support agents

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCES :

  • Associates Degree or Certificate in Information Technology/Telecommunications or related field preferred

  • Three years of experience with desktop support, user computing and mobile device management

  • Must maintain a valid, current driver's license

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

  • Strong working knowledge of mobile device hardware, software, and operating systems

  • Ability to coordinate and communicate plans with multiple parties to implement infrastructure, design, and system changes in a timely and accurate manner

  • Exceptional organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, thrive in a fast-paced industry and office atmosphere, and possess advanced problem-solving capability

  • Good industry acumen and process knowledge

  • Ability to gather, analyze, and summarize data

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration to achieve department vision and goals

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Must be able to use a computer
