As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.
Your Role and Responsibilities

We are now looking for talented and ambitious Digital Twin Architects to join the IBM Intelligent Connected Operations team.
The Sr. Digital Twin Architect is responsible for translating the client's business requirements into application, platform or process designs. You will work with client stakeholders to identify functional requirements and lead the conception and detailing of the technical architecture of the Digital Twin solution. The role includes a wide range of activities from requirements analysis through system and process design. As a Digital Twin Architect, you will be expected to have deep technical skills with IoT, Augmented Reality (AR) and preferably asset management and PLM products and technologies. You will be proficient in the use of analytical solutions and cloud platforms as fundamental components of a Digital Twin solution. You will also be comfortable helping clients understand how the range of Digital Twin solutions can be transformative to their business and operations by enabling new business models, revenue streams and impact their competitive positioning.
You will be responsible for:
Leading the design and delivery of Digital Twin solutions for our clients
Providing technical leadership to clients on how Digital Twin, AR and IoT solutions can transform their business and operations
Presenting IBM’s Digital Twin Point of View to C-level client executives
Providing technical leadership to presales and proposal teams
Developing IBM intellectual property and technical eminence in Digital Twin and IoT
You will have at least seven years of experience in a similar role in a leading organization where you will have gained the ability to successfully navigate complex organisations and manage multiple stakeholder interests.

Business travel and remote working to serve our clients internationally is to be expected.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 10 years experience in the following:
Technical expertise in a range of Augmented Reality tools and frameworks such as Unity, Unreal, Vuforia, Apple ARKit, Google ARCore and Microsoft Hololens
Technical expertise in at least one IoT solution area preferably related to asset intensive industries or manufacturing
Technical expertise in at least one industry leading cloud platform (IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Salesforce etc.)
Production of detailed architecture artefacts describing cloud solutions for implementation
The ability to lead diverse and distributed technical teams
Experience with agile delivery methodologies and use of DevSecOps delivery infrastructure
The ability to architect and manage an end to end solution while being able to drill down into technical details and perform root cause analysis when required
A wide breadth of technical skills and the ability to learn new things fast
Excellent client facing and communications skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience with asset management solutions (such as Maximo or SAP)
Experience with PLM solutions (such as Siemens Teamcenter, PTC, Dassault, Autodesk)
Experience with cloud native and container-based architectures
