Job Summary:

Under general supervision designs and develops full stack Java/Angular 2+/JavaScript web application.

Duties:

Translate use cases and web-page concept designs into functional, dynamic web applications. Provide estimates of level of work effort and time for completion. Develop and unit test complex application web components. Develop complex application business logic using Java/Angular 2+/JavaScript. Design and code, and integrate application business layer with external application components. Create or update system documentation. Demonstrate the ability to multitask. Transfer knowledge and transition work to the team.

Be articulate, persuasive and organized in their presentation skills. Carry themselves well in-group settings. Listen and promote open communication upward, downward and cross-functionally. Write meaningful complex documents such as program specifications and test plans. Documents should be clear, concise, grammatically correct, and require minimal editing. Communicate effectively with peers, clients, FRIT personnel, and other District personnel. Effectively and accurately track progress and report status.

Knowledge and Experience:

Use and apply technical/business knowledge on both the job and future planning of job deliverables. Expert on Java and Spring Framework Substantial experience in Angular 2+/JavaScript Experience with Eclipse, Intellij, and VS Code. Must be familiar with implementing standard best practices (e.g. secure programming, Java/Angular/JavaScript patterns). Provide fully documented work, instruction, and training to peers as required.
