Hardware Design Manufacturing Operations (HDMO) Training Device Technicians
support training device manufacturing and engineering teams for the production, modification, and sustainment of multiple US Defense and Foreign Military Sales training programs. The HDMO Training Device Technician team is based in
St. Louis, MO .
Gathers information to support the repair and test and assists with installation, configuration, upgrade and modification of basic simulators and training components, devices, hardware and software.
Assists with general pre-operations, post-operations and component handling of training devices.
Orders, ships and receives parts and components.
Gathers information to support troubleshooting of mechanical or electrical faults.
Works under close supervision.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience)
Minimum of 1 year experience in electrical engineering
Capable of traveling up to 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Associate's degree of higher level of education
Typical Education and Experience
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 2 years' related work experience).
