Your Role and Responsibilities
The Enterprise Architect for Mainframe will be leading and coordinating the pre-sales activities for projects with high revenue generation in the Financial Services Sector. The successful candidate will be responsible from strategy development to delivery for ensuring our financial services clients’ satisfaction.
You will help senior executives and delivery leaders determine where to compete, how to differentiate, and how to innovate business models and technology platforms by taking advantage of digital and new technologies. You will support the implementation and modernization of large-scale enterprise system in the Financial Sector. A successful candidate will have experience consulting to large enterprises from an architecture perspective.
Highly experienced in digital banking and financial services sector with strong business acumen about the enterprise/infrastructure architecture
Practice for conducting enterprise analysis, design, planning, solutioning and implementation using holistic approach for development and execution of strategy through applying architecture principles
Experienced in performing the analysis of digital banking business structure and processes to address effectiveness, efficiency, agility, and durability
Experience in Building Digital Banking, Core Banking Modernization, Micro Services, API Framework, and BIAN APIS, Dev Ops, Cloud Native, Tool Chain, Business and Functional Componentization
Specialized in architecture and digital banking business transformation, strategy development, business model innovation, service design and architecture, operating model design and transformation planning
Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex problems in a comprehensive fashion for a variety of audiences, forming a bridge between business units and technical teams
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
-Multi-year hands-on experience in designing / developing/ maintaining of large scale mainframe application landscapes in the Financial Services Industry
-Enterprise, Application and Data Architecture Software Engineering Process on zOS Online and batch Non functional requirements management (work load, throughout put, performance)
-Experience Lead developer experience as alternative
zSystems, DASD and VTL specification and refresh
Understanding of Mainframe networking specs and options
· z/OS skills with exposure to Mainframe Hardware
· Strong client facing technical leadership experience with proven experience or/and a technical lead role for a
· Exposure and good understanding in core mainframe when transforming, designing, developing & deploying
· Experience with dynamic schedules driven by client demand
· Excellent oral/written English communication skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
-Open Group Certification for IT Architect
-Well known in the market (Banks and ISVs)
-Good digital reputation
Knowledge of monitoring tools from different vendors like Omegamon, CA, BMC or Compuware
Understating of CICS, IMS2/DB2
-Understating of IBM Parallel Sysplex
- Performance and capacity experience
