Qualifications:

-Degree in Cyber Security, Network/Systems/Security Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is a plus

-Must have a minimum of 6 years experience as an Incident Responder

-Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in network and/or security administration

-CISSP, GCIH, CEH and/or CISM (preferred)

-Experience with technical skills, such as systems administration, network administration, programming, technical support, intrusion detection, malware analysis and forensics. Workstation and server environment

-Ability to analyze system logs, triage and correlate malicious threat activity using various sources of data input

-Trained in malicious event detection, containment, and remediation processes in an Enterprise IT environment

-Experience tracking and disposition ongoing security events utilizing SIEM platform

-Experience following documented Security Department Incident Response Plan best practices

-Awareness of PCI Compliance principles as they relate to incident response handling

-Threat hunting experience, malware reverse engineering capability a plus

-Knowledge of forensic software to remotely acquire evidence files and follows chain of custody best practices pertaining to acquiring, transferring and storing physical evidence

-Working knowledge or two or more of the following technologies: DNS, Triple A, network protocols, and/or networking devices – servers, routers, jump boxes, proxys, firewalls, wireless AP, desktops, laptops, wireless computing devices, etc.

-Knowledge of network design, network architecture, protocols and network topology

-Experience with network devices and basic network appliances

-24/7 availability, via an on-call rotation schedule and potential on-site presence required during an ongoing incident

-Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)

-Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer
