Kemper has an immediate need for a skilled and motivated Senior Systems Administrator to work from any of our primary IT office locations - Birmingham, AL, Jacksonville, FL, Chicago, IL, St Louis, MO, Dallas, TX, Oklahoma City, OK, or Phoenix, AZ.
This role works as part of the Network Operations team. This position would be responsible for the Control-M Environment which includes the maintaining the software installation, patching, and training, assist with building schedules and troubleshooting within he Control M tool. This position will also be responsible for the coordination and secondary support of the mainframe environment.
Maintain the Control M environment on Mainframe and distributed systems includes installation of software, patches, and upgrades.
Training of the development teams within the Control-M product
Assist with the development and implementation of schedules within Control-M.
Secondary support of our Mainframe environment.
Responsible for providing Attestation and audit reports.
Contribute to various projects, following both traditional and agile project management methods.
Provide mentoring and technical assistance to other team members as needed.
4 year degree in an information technology related discipline and/or 5 years related work experience
3 years’ experience with Control M infrastructure and setting up and troubleshooting of schedules
An understanding on support mainframe
