TD Ameritrade Bilingual (Mandarin) - Client Account Representative - St. Louis, MO in St. Louis, Missouri

The Client Account Services (CAS) department is responsible for opening new accounts and updating existing accounts for our Asia Pacific clients. Within Client Account Services, The Rep CAS role is primarily focused on client communications and processing items in queue. Processing work is primarily available via retail image workflow system. Communications with client are done via phone calls and email correspondence (KANA) spoken and written in Mandarin.

  • Support clients and business partners with questions related to new account opening, account maintenance, etc.

  • Processing of client requests routed via fax, mail, and email through the imaging workflow system. This may include:

  • New Account Opening / Resolution

  • Account Closures

  • Account Registration Changes

  • Pin/Password Changes

  • Forms Routing / Indexing

  • Process changes to client accounts resulting from periodic exception reporting

  • This may include:

  • Change of Address

  • Account Closures

  • Office Code Changes / Mirrors

  • Ad Hoc Account Cleanup Efforts

  • Support Lean/Better Way methodologies to ensure efficient handling of client requests.

  • Participate in projects and initiatives of varying scope and duration as directed by the business.

  • Business testing to ensure new systems and functionality get implemented on schedule and according to requirements.

  • Learn additional duties within the CAS organization to enable efficient deployment of associates to address seasonal volume changes.

  • 2-3 total customer service experience

  • Bi-lingual candidates fluent in Mandarin &/or Cantonese

  • TD Ameritrade systems knowledge, specifically core / client onboarding systems

  • MS Office

  • Effective self-starter

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize, and complete them in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to learn, apply and retain new information and skills quickly

  • Ability to display professionalism across all settings

  • Superior interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to work on cross functional teams and interact with all levels of management

  • Ability to solve problems quickly

  • Ability to produce high quality work and meet deadlines

  • Ability to anticipate business needs for internal and external clients

  • Ability to identify and communicate process improvement opportunities in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and share work responsibilities as needed to manage and ensure the successful completion of client requests within agreed-upon service levels

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving/decision making skills

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team setting as well as independently with minimal supervision
