Your Role and Responsibilities
A Process Automation Application Developer will be responsible for designing, creating, developing and implementing automation systems by investigating, analyzing, and setting up automated processes to maximize efficiency for a business model with the help of automation technologies and tools.
Description of Duties:
Create and maintain technical solution documentation
Design automation solutions utilizing IBM Robotic Process Automation tools (Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, WDG) best practices and maintain technical responsibility for project delivery
Develop new processes/tasks/objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand
Support existing processes and implement change requirements as part of a structured change control process
Mentor colleagues through RPA vendor training and accreditation program, providing advice and guidance on best practices and development techniques
Problem-solve issues that arise in the day-to-day running of RPA processes and provide timely responses and solutions as required
Work within project planning constraints, communicate any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager, and provide inputs to the change control process
Create and document test procedures and scenarios for the pre-UAT (User Acceptance Testing) phases, and support the operational teams during the UAT and rollout phases
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
2-3 years experience required in the following:
UAT testing and debugging
Business process analysis and modeling
Experience in SDLC Methodologies
Programming Languages: C#, JAVA, VB, .NET
Scripting Languages: VB Script, Python
Database: MS SQL Server, MySQL
Knowledge of: HTML, CSS, Java Script, jQuery
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Technologically savvy and familiar with one or more of: IT and process automation, RPA, artificial intelligence, machine learning
