The Value-Based Commercial Innovation Lead supports Humana's Value-Based Strategies mission of developing, deploying, and supporting the best programs, practices, and capabilities that assist Humana's provider partners and internal customers to successfully achieve enterprise VB goals. This role will develop new value-based payment programs specifically for the Commercial line of business.

The Value-Based (VB) Commercial Innovation Lead supports successful value-based provider relationships with a focus on improving the provider experience and achieving path-to-value goals. The VB Commercial Innovation Lead provides strategic advice and guidance to functional team(s). This associate will need to be highly skilled with broad, advanced technical experience.
In supporting Humana's Value-Based Strategies organization, the VB Commercial Innovation Lead will be accountable for the development of new, innovative VB provider payment models designed to promote improved quality, outcomes, and cost of care.
An advanced subject matter expert competent in working at very high levels in multiple knowledge and functional areas across the enterprise, the Value-Based Commercial Innovation Lead will work with senior executives to develop and drive strategies for the Employer Group segment. Core responsibilities include:
Evaluation of Payment Model efficacy and scalability as we seek to broaden our core Commercial VB Program portfolio
Advising one or more areas, programs, or functions and providing recommendations to senior executives on matters of significance
This role reports to the Associate Director of Commercial Innovation & Management. Job location is flexible.
2+ years experience with developing and/or managing value-based payment models/relationships
2+ years of project leadership experience
Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Ability to use independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action
Prior leadership experience developing and/or managing value-based payment models/relationships
Sense of humor
Work at Home/Remote Requirements Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance is required.
