The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer collects, integrates, analyzes, and presents data in order to create insightful and actionable business information. This position provides data-driven decision support to MarketPoint sales leadership.
Works with Senior Sales Leaders to provide actionable data driven insights
Optimizes databases and tables to maximize performance of data processes and BI tools
Partners with business teams and analytics/technology professionals to identify data and technology related needs
Writes queries to pull/summarize/analyze data from various data sets and platforms
Analyzes data to derive insights
Builds online interactive reports
Leads cross-functional initiatives
Provides consultation to business teams related to processes, data, and technology
Provides mentoring to teammates with respect to consultative and technical skills in order to promote best practices and grow the organization
Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of data analysis experience
Advanced experience working with large and complex data sets within large organizations
Proficiency in writing complex SQL for data mining and analysis
Experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction
Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership
Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Advanced skills in Python, R, SAS and/or other data analysis languages
Experience using Power BI to create data analyses and visualizations
Expertise in forecasting, simulation, and/or predictive modeling
Experience creating analytics solutions for healthcare sectors
