Fiserv Risk Assurance Analyst, Advisory in Springfield, Missouri

Position Description

What does a great Risk Assurance Analyst do?

The Risk Assurance Analyst, Advisory takes a lead role in Card Services Technology based internal and external driven audits, examinations and risk assessments of systems, processes and controls. As an advisory level risk professional, you will use your business and technical skills to coordinate the technology organization’s participation in audit events, manage the assessed risks and issues to closure, and help support risk governance activities.

As a Risk Assurance Analyst, you can look forward to:

  • Audit/Exam Management

  • Assigning and managing delivery of IT subject matter experts to participate in audit events

  • Coordinating evidence collection and its review

  • Serving as escalation point for technology organization’s audit events and assessments

  • Actively participating in audit/assessment sessions to help ensure best audit results

  • Issue / Risk Management

  • Participating in the design/review of remediation plans and mitigating controls

  • Managing issue resolution and its delivery to Technology leadership and enterprise risk oversight

  • Reporting progress to technology leadership as a component of risk governance.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with Business or Technology emphasis, or demonstrated related work experience

  • 5+ years professional experience in Information Technology, Risk Management, or Controls Development

  • Familiarity with FinTech, Payment Card Industry, Product development and Operations

  • IT background with a strong understanding and working knowledge of a variety of technologies.

  • Sophisticated data analysis skills using MS Office tools such as MS Excel and/or Power BI

  • Hold at least one of the following certifications: CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or commit to achieve within 12 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:

  • 8+ years professional experience in Information Technology, Risk Management, or Controls Development

  • Knowledge/Experience with PCI DSS requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate ability to influence and properly advise senior level stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational skills with creative problem-solving abilities

Travel required: This position may require up to 10% annual travel due to the multiple locations supported.
