IT Systems AdministratorReporting to the firms IT Manager, the IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of one or more enterprise technology systems essential to the firms core business functions. The Systems Administrator acts as technical resource to management and staff assisting in the operational support of the current computing environment and implementation of technology initiatives.Responsibilities: Monitor the ticketing system to ensure timely acknowledgement of support requests Provide 1st and 2nd level hardware, software, and networking troubleshooting for a user base of approximately 65 staff members in 3 offices. Assists management in proactively meeting the technology needs of the office by keeping IT management abreast of issues and activities Ensure the efficient operations of integrated components within the environment such as servers, routers, firewalls, switches, virtual machine hosts, etc. Maintain and create documentation of procedures, operations and network topology. Appropriately prioritize IT projects and help tickets. Understand business needs, educate staff on technology and how to use it as a strategic asset. Work closely with members of the IT team to ensure successful completion of technology projects throughout the firmPosition RequirementsExperience and Education At least 1-2 years on-hands systems and/or networking support in a Windows-based computing environment. Bachelors degree in Information Technology or computer related field preferred Equivalent combination of training and experience acceptableIdeal candidate has experience with the following:Windows 10Microsoft OfficeActive DirectoryCisco Networking EquipmentVirtual Windows Servers and HostsPersonal Attributes: Resourceful and innovative problem-solving abilities.
