O'Reilly Automotive Stores, Inc HR Data Technician in SPRINGFIELD, Missouri

The HR Data Technician supports the Human Resources Department with a variety of administrative duties related to team member records. These records have a significant impact on the company and the processing of payroll. This position requires attention to detail and an understanding of the records as it is critical team member data that is updated timely and accurately.

Essential Job Functions

  • Input and maintain all team member records and payroll information including new hires, status changes, rate of pay, employment status, job title, work location, etc. in the HR/PR system

  • Responsible for accuracy of records

  • Respond to calls and emails from all levels of management regarding team member records

  • Resolve issues when appropriate and escalate further concerns to the HR Records/Benefits Manager, when necessary

  • Coordinate with field HR to ensure timely and accurate submission of their records

  • Work closely with the payroll department in resolving issues related to human resources and payroll data

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of work experience in a clerical position

  • Excellent organizational and alpha/numeric data entry skills

  • Attention to detail, with emphasis on thoroughness and accuracy

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills

  • Some word processing and spreadsheet experience
