Responsibilities and Qualifications

Gathers and summarizes collected data in order to:

a. Identification of cost and quality trends with care delivery.

b. Identifiy inconsistent patterns of care.

c. Develop and maintain simplified reporting for payor metric management.

d. Develop compartitive analysis for care management, e.g., application of palliative care, case management effectiveness, and risk score identification system.

Implements project tracking/reporting and produces ad hoc reports determined by Primary care & Business Intellengence Manager.

Provides support to the Adult Medicine ICSC.

Self starter and able to juggle simultaneous requests/reports.

Help identify process improvement opportunities by evaluating reports.

Presents data in appropriate, clear format and aprporiate presentation- graphs, powerpoint, etc.

Provides data on Professional CPT and ICD-9/19 coding and documentation to physicians, and advanced practitioners.

Qualifications:

  • Education: BS Degree in IT or business related field.

  • Experience: Experience in Database query tools & microsoft office. Knowledge of database structures and design. Good analytical, conceptual and root cause analysis skills.

  • Ot her: Outstanding communication skills w/ all levels of leadership (oral, written and presentation). Able to work collaboratively w/ diverse groups. Able to work on several, concurrent projects and must possess time management skills and ability to prioritize.

  • Preferred Experience: Experience in Healthcare IT, and project oriented methodoligies and concepts.
