Robert Half International Senior Financial Analyst in SEDALIA, Missouri
Description There is a short-term temporary-to-full-time opening as a Senior Financial Analyst for one of our clients. This Senior Financial Analyst will be located in Sedalia, Missouri. To thrive in this role, you will need to excel at being our client's primary point of contact for all financial issues, including project spending, planning, forecasting and annual budgeting. If you can perform analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments supporting public reporting requirements, and provide decision-making support for future company investments, you will succeed in this Senior Financial Analyst consultant role.
Grow business performance by identifying and executing financial analysis
Power existing management reporting by evaluating financial results, distilling and synthesizing issues, and articulating key updates to senior-level staff
Cultivate dynamic relationships with Finance/Accounting leadership of key business partners
Collaborate with Operations and Accounting to drive improved management reporting by tracking financial results more discreetly and accurately
Develop repeatable business, operational and financial processes widely understood by all necessary teams
Evaluate financial results, summarize key trends, assess current and future business risks, and communicate critical updates all in the course of preparing monthly and quarterly reporting to senior leadership
Work closely with Functional leads - provide management reporting, accounting and compliance guidance, and ensure alignment of operational initiatives
Provide assistance in ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests Requirements - Ability to work cross functionally and influence appropriately
Highly-accomplished in office systems, reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended
Demonstrated skills in process reengineering and optimization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to think critically and operate effectively with management
High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Budget forecasting experience required
Practical knowledge of HFM
Financial Close Process experience
Annual Physical Inventories experience preferred
General familiarity with SAP
Experience with Fixed Asset Accounting
Strong familiarity with financial reporting
Well-founded grasp of Microsoft PowerPoint
Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently
Applicants are required to hold a Finance, Business, or related field BA/BS degree
Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint
