Position: Tech Specialist

Contract Length: 4 months

Shift: 40 hours per week (8:00a-5:00p – Flex ), working remotely is not an option, 10 hour days are not negotiable; on-call rotation will be required

Location working out of: St. Louis, MO 63110

Project Information: Supporting the Infrastructure environment of BJC, Including VMWare, Windows, IBM and Cisco Server hardware. Also Implementing and supporting capital IT projects.

Daily Responsibilities: Work with technical application teams to gather information for new server design. Also building server according to BJC server standards utilizing standard build documents and procedures

Job Description Summary

Top level technical expert in one or more highly specialized areas of BJC Technology Services. Provides technical consulting on complex projects. Focus is on process analysis, re-engineering, design and simulation with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment. Frequently serves as liaison between BJC Infrastructure and vendor technical contacts. Leads staff employees on a regular basis

Technical Skills:

2-3 years Windows 2003 & 2012, Advanced level

2-3 years VMware 5.1 – 6.0 VCenter, Intermediate level
