Charter Spectrum Sr Application Developer Peoplesoft in Saint Louis, Missouri

JOB SUMMARYUtilizing PeopleSoft technical development experience in implementing, upgrading, modifying and configuring the PeopleSoft HCM/CRM systems and their sub-modules, the Senior HRMS Developer will be responsible for working with Business Analysts and Business Leads in determining the requirements and design of enhancements and providing technical services to solve root cause of break/fix incidents and bug fixes. The Senior HRMS Developer will also work with other internal and external clients to provide technical solutions to business needs. Other responsibilities include: develop and maintain technical documentation, influence system design by identifying and recommending design and requirement needs for enhancements, mentor and coach less experienced staff and serving as a final escalation point for resolving production incidents and problems.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Actively and consistently support all efforts to enhance the end user experience * Design, implement, and deliver complex products for users * Work closely within the development team to respond, clarify or define specific application behavior, look/feel and function * Diagnose complex issues, evaluate, recommend and execute the best resolution * Manage detailed application requirements and collaborate with project /development teams to ensure quality function, features and user experience * Develop, modify, enhance and implement software systems designed to support new or existing business initiatives * Influence system design by identifying and recommending design and requirements needs for software enhancements * Test software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements * Write code that meets the production requirements and design specifications * Ensure code is regression free, documented and unit tested * Participate in design review to provide a technical perspective on implementation * Ensure alignment between the business operational strategies and technical solutionsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSSkills/Abilities and Knowledge * Ability to read, write, speak and understand English * Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and OO Design * In-depth understanding of PeopleSoft, SQL and related development technologies * Knowledge of iterative development methodologies * Ability to deliver against several initiatives simultaneously * Ability to prioritize and organize effectively * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilitiesEducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fieldRelated Work Experience Number of YearsSoftware development experience 7+PeopleSoft HCM/CRM 7+Version control experience 3-4WORKING CONDITIONSOffice environmentThe Spectrum brand is powered and innovated by Company .
