TricorBraun Senior Logistics Analyst II in Saint Louis, Missouri

Under general supervision of the Senior Manager of Transportation Services, Sr. Logistics Analyst II is responsible for administrative, training and operational functions within a Transportation Management Systems (TMS) platform. This will involve various modes for domestic US/CA (TL, LTL, AIR) and international (OCEAN, AIR) shipments. Duties will fall to about 60% administrative/training and 40% planning and execution.


  • Onboarding and setup of freight partners, vendors and users on the TMS.

  • Normalize received data for TMS configuration from various sources.

  • Manage transportation contract and configurations.

  • Provide training and support for internal and external TMS Users.

  • Identify potential new cost savings opportunities through data and process analysis.

  • Analysis and support of freight bill audit & payment process.

  • Contribute to automation and improvement of TMS-related processes.

  • Generate custom and standard reports for management and staff as needed.

  • Complete daily planning & shipment execution responsibilities as assigned. Role will act as floater to support PTO by Senior Logistics Analyst’s

  • Performs additional duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, Analytics, Economics or Mathematics

  • 3-5 years of transportation services experience

  • Full understanding of transportation in relation to TL, LTL, and broker networks

  • Deep understanding and experience within a TMS

  • Experience with multiple pricing structures to support various modes of transportation

  • Experience with freight invoice audit & disputes

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; preferably strong Excel skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Self-directed and motivated, able to work independently on most projects

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Ability to travel 15% of the time as required within the US or Canada
