KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Financial Analyst to join our Finance and Accounting organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the financial evaluation of the IT project portfolio for budgets, forecasts and the three year plan

  • Prepare budgets, forecasts and plans for IT operating expenditures related to internal client facing groups

  • Manage monthly, quarterly or annual financial reporting and commentaries as required to support the technology group and firm processes

  • Execute ad hoc financial analyses and special projects to provide decision support and presentation data

  • Develop action plans for improvement and optimizing their financial results through increased financial transparency and insight

  • Lead the accounting and reporting processes for areas supported and help ensure they are in compliance with firm policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of progressive accounting and financial planning and analysis experience; preferably within an IT finance department

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited college or university

  • Experience compiling data from different stakeholders and ability to present in an 'easy to understand' manner

  • Prior knowledge and experience with data retrieval and reporting systems such as Hyperion Financial Management, PeopleSoft Financials, or SAP Business Objects

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Access

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
