DESCRIPTION General Purpose Provide support for the company s contract compliance, insurance programs and surety bond program; and to provide support for Risk Department projects and tasks as needed ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Review RFPs for compliance with insurance and bonding requirements. Supply evidence of compliance with these requirements, and log requests and responses. * Act as initial point of contact for RFP related requests, identify and collaborate with appropriate business units to prepare responses. * Process surety bond requests and maintain information regarding surety bond program. * Maintain company s insurance underwriting information as assigned by the Director of Risk Management. * Issue and distribute certificates of insurance and identification cards from various insurance policies. * Review RPF or contract language to determine is confidentiality language meets requirements. * Facilitate process to execute Non-Disclosure Agreements as needed to release confidential information. * Prepare financial statements with internal requirements and send to other parties. * Track release of financial statements and handle process to have them returned when appropriate. * Process invoices for bonds, insurance and risk services * Assist with various administrative items and projects as assigned for the Risk Management and Finance team. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree B. A. from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: * Previous contract compliance and/or related experience preferred * Management level written and oral communication skills * Superior knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required * Excellent organizational skills * Attention to detail * Excellent mathematical skills * Ability to type 45 wpm PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee will often be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk, and hear. The employee will occasionally be required to lift up to 35 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee will occasionally be exposed to moderate noise levels examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic. In addition, employee may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts, work in wet or humid conditions non-weather, be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, and vibration.
