The Boeing Company Radar Integration Support Engineer (Mid-Level) in Saint Louis, Missouri
The Sensors and Special Programs team is seeking an experienced system design and integration engineer to serve as a Radar SME for various programs. This position includes the opportunity to work on new computing architectures and integrate key features into hardware and software. The Sensors & Special Programs organization works across the St. Louis site and the larger Boeing enterprise to develop engineering solutions. This design/integration engineer will interface with program customers and with government evaluation teams to define system/subsystem level requirements and testing for a broad range of product solutions.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience): * Strong performance in electrical or computer engineering, or a related field, operating through the full engineering lifecycle. * Strong command of requirements definition, subsystem allocation, and integration testing. * Significant familiarity in fighter aircraft avionics systems. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): * Experience with commercial requirements definition, configuration management, and anomaly tracking applications. * Experience with either Traditional or Agile software development processes. * Experience in the field of cyber security, anti-tamper and/or secure computing. * Highly motivated and exhibit strong communication, inter-personal, and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and effectively with external customers and subcontractors in an Integrated Product Team environment. * Held a U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months. Typical Education / Experience: Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
