We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join an existing team working onsite with a local client. This long-term temporary employment opportunity is based in the Saint Louis, Missouri area. You could manage key projects as part of our client's strategic business plan, as their Senior Project Manager. As a key member of the team, you will ensure that changes are delivered to the expectations of stakeholders. The role needs to be responsible for managing projects to successful completion, ensuring that projects deliver on time, on budget, and in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project as well. Responsibilities

  • Engages with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects

  • Creates project with correct ticket workflows and boards

  • Sustain the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products

  • Rallies details from QA leads, business analysts, and technical leads into testimonials

  • Works with Product Owner/Product Manager to ensure that the product vision and high-level business objectives are clear and achievable

  • Be instrumental in managing dependencies among cross-product teams

  • Helps to identify, classify, and manage risk for functional improvement requests

  • Creates schedules and milestones, manages project scope and timelines, and inputs from all other teams assigns to that product

  • Facilitates the daily stand-ups, ensuring they are timely, focused and brief

  • Work in close cooperation with the QA Manager, Product Specialist, Product Owner/Product Manager, and Business Analyst

  • Leads project planning

  • Collaborates with the Product Owner/Product Manager to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap

  • Conducts deployment scheduling in coordination with Dev Ops, Product Owner, and tech lead

  • Grants detailed reporting to management on project status, milestone completion, and risk assessments

  • Make certain that the functional requirements are tracked, achievable, and met

  • Creates and handles the sprint planning and grooming meetings and marks ticket assignments

  • Contributes as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - clearing obstacles, ensuring the team is working effectively, and leading scrum ceremonies

  • Observes and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner

  • Collaborates and communicates with stakeholders, developers, technical team members and designers

  • Defines the RACI matrix for projects in a product line

    Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of relevant Project Management experience

  • Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement

  • Comprehensive knowledge of navigating basic office equipment and protocols

  • Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

  • Project management skills, strong operational abilities, and demonstrated leadership and supervisory qualifications

  • Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures

    • If you can demonstrate that you are familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies, this position is for you

    • Proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools is strongly preferred.
