is currently seeking a Director in Cyber Security Defense - Threat Management
for our KPMG Consulting practice.
Oversee strategy, design, implementation, and operation of cyber security and fraud solutions
Provide guidance on security architecture for threat detection and response systems used as a part of security operations and fusion centers
Recommend strategies for leveraging threat intelligence to support cyber security and fraud operations
Develop next generation threat detection solutions leveraging machine learning and AI
Design and implement advanced cyber attack prevention and anti-fraud controls
Support development of thought leadership and go-to-market materials
Present firm-based approaches and messaging at internal training classes, external events, and client meetings
Work with vendors to discover and secure partnering opportunities
A minimum of eight years of experience in Information Security or in a technology related field Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience; CISSP, CEH, CPT, CISM, CISA, CIPP, GIAC, GSEC, and/or GCFW certifications is preferred
Knowledge of Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) actors and associated tools, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
Knowledge of cyber threat intelligence analytic frameworks including Cyber Kill Chain and Mitre ATT&CK
Exceptional interpersonal, team building, mentoring, and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior level executives
Travel may be up to 80-100%, work in a fast paced, results driven environment, grasp new technology, and contribute at a rapid pace
