Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk. The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

The BIC3 in Corporate Risk-Strategy Planning and Governance, will support the Financial Management, Forecasting, and Project Reporting Leader in developing and preparing standardized monthly and quarterly Financial Management Reporting Packages for each Risk Area COO, support the monthly reconciliation of headcount for Corporate Risk, assist in measuring expense save initiatives and related change controls. The BIC3 will work closely with the Corporate Risk Finance team to ensure headcount is reflected accurately within each Accounting Unit and Operating Unit as organizational restructures occur.

The successful candidate will be someone that is proactive, detail-oriented self-starter who values personal accountability and thrives under pressure in a fast-paced and ever changing environment. Demonstrate the ability to build strong, effective, collaborative partnerships by soliciting input and sharing feedback as appropriate. Able to work independently to achieve results while keeping the Leader informed and seeking guidance when necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with capacity planning, forecasting, process improvement, and measurements

  • Process definition and documentation experience

  • Ability to assess current processes/procedures and make recommendations for efficiency

  • Ability to create dashboards and reporting

  • Ability to develop operational reporting and performing complex data analysis

  • Ability to manage complex data and reporting projects requiring coordination of resources at different levels both internally and externally

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Budgeting, forecasting, and cost benefit analysis skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of database building, forecasting, and processes

  • Knowledge and understanding of financial controls and risk

  • Knowledge and understanding of Six Sigma methodology
